“I” of the Consumer Week in Review

week-in-review.jpg

The big story this past week was the leak of government surveillance programs. And as I’m in DC this weekend, I figured it appropriate to comment briefly. The way I see it is as a marketer. While it may not cause as big a stir among the masses, advertisers have been collecting this type of information under the radar for years. The fact that the government is doing it shouldn’t change the way you feel about it. Nothing you do is private anymore, period.

If spent the last week off the grid, you may have missed these posts:

  1. New Blog Series: Steal     This
  2. 3 Stages of Content     Marketing
  3. Building a Website? Don’t     Forget the Pages You Don’t Need Yet
  4. Sponsor a Classroom:     DonorsChoose.org

Happy Sunday!

Bonus - 3 Ways to Boost Your Marketing Knowledge:
