Email Marketing Increased in 2012

According to a recent report, retail email jumped by 19% in 2012 over 2011. That means that retailers sent 19% more promotional email to their subscribers than the year before. For all those marketers and technology “experts” who told us that email was dead over the last couple of years, it’s time to wake up and check your inbox.
Email is still the number 1 most efficient direct marketing channel. It’s usage is only going to rise again in 2013.
