There is a great quote by Peter Drucker that I always come back to. “The aim of marketing is to making selling superfluous.” That is to say, if you do your job as a marketer, the customers will come running. You won’t have to sell to them, because the marketing alone has convinced them that they want to purchase. They have made the decision before they ever get to your store/website.
