Isn’t that better than having a competitor do it for you? Blockbuster wishes they had invented Netflix. Kodak wishes they had pushed into digital cameras. Tower Records wishes they had invented iTunes. If you want your business to survive over the long term, you need to be willing to build whatever comes next.
