Marketing is 50% art, 50% science. There are many successful marketers who are 100% artists or 100% scientists. But to really succeed in the field, it’s best to be skilled on both sides of the equation. If you’re an artist, invest time in learning the science. If you’re a scientist, seek out an artist who can show you the way. Companies want well-rounded marketers to lead them to growth, and they’ll pay to find and keep them around.
