“I” of the Consumer Week in Review

Last Saturday I recommended we all be a little more thankful for the discounts offered this season. This Saturday I would like to amend that to say that I think the practice of stores opening on Thanksgiving and forcing their employees to work is despicable and anti-American. If stores want to open, that’s fine. If people want to shop, that’s also fine. But as soon as you make someone come into work instead of staying home with their family, you’re crossing a line. Stop it!

Here is a recap of last week’s posts:

  1. Break the Rules – Part 6
  2. Did You Know Words Can Hurt You?
  3. What Are Marketers Thankful For?

Happy Saturday!
