This past week I saw my first holiday commercial of the season. It was a pre-November holiday savings announcement. At this moment the company that ran the ad escapes me, but I know it was a large national retail store (not Walmart, maybe Target). I know it gets earlier and earlier each year. But it still gets me. Marketers are in such a rush to bring you their messaging FIRST, that sometimes they ignore everything else. Are people really planning their holiday shopping already?
