Happy New Year! Welcome to 2012. The fact that you’re reading this now is proof that we made it, and even though the Mayans think that this year will be the end of it all, at least we’ll be here to see it. There are a lot of things about 2011 I will miss, but in the grand scheme of things I am glad to turn the page to 2012. I think the general sense of optimism in our country will grow, and I plan on growing with it.
